Salma Ahmed and Klaus Bung -Testimonials Date: 10 June 2007 Dear Divya, You will be pleased to hear that Salma and I were successful during the interview at the British High Commission, and she will get the much desired visa. The Interview was a doddle. The interviewer, interviewing first Salma, and then me alone, asked only the most unavoidable questions (How did you get to know each other, how did you fall in love, when did you get engaged, what did Salma say when you proposed, when did you get married, what do you have in common?) and did not try to trap us in any way. I believe that the interview was so easy because, as a result of your advice, our application file was extremely well prepared and documented. It seems that the file itself convinced the interviewer of the validity of our case even before he started the interview. Even though the application form was filled in (with all necessary evidence added) by our solicitor in the UK, it would never have been as convincing as it was if you had not made us add several elements about which we previously did not have a clue; for example · The marriage card · Photographs of my socializing with Salma's family · Photographs of one day of joint romantic sight seeing in Delhi · Photographs of Wedding Dinner at a prestigious location · Photographs of Honeymoon suite · Statements about the emotional development of our relationship, · etc You also pinpointed a number of contradictory or counterproductive arguments and helped us to find convincing formulations. You vetted our huge file to make sure it was easy to use and free of omissions and errors. All this made the file so effective that the Interviewer approached us with a sympathetic attitude. We particularly appreciated the Interview Training which you gave us during the week prior to the interview. You practised with us how to present our case, alerted us to difficult questions which might arise, spotted unconvincing or counter-productive arguments. We left the interview training feeling elated and confident and keen to 'go into battle' at the interview itself. As it turned out, many of the questions we had prepared for were not asked. However, they COULD HAVE BEEN ASKED, and knowing that we had been prepared for everything gave us a feeling of confidence that surely projected itself to the interviewer during the few questions that WERE asked. So the Interview Training, even in our situation, was absolutely vital for our success. You realise that the successful the interview and the resulting visa for Salma is a turning point in her life, her greatest achievement ever, and we both are extremely grateful to you for having brought this about.
